Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28 in 1967. She is an American performer and singer. She began her acting career when she was a teenager. She is most known for playing Maggie Beckett on the TV series Sliders and also in the role of the character of Sheriff Samantha Parker, in the thriller-comedy movie Eight Legged Freaks. Wuhrer was raised at Brookfield Connecticut as the daughter of Karin Noble and worked as a pay clerk as well as German American Andrew Wuhrer. The youngest of her three siblings. When she was young She sang in nightclubs, and then went on to perform. She studied acting from the age of 13 at the Wooster School. She then pursued drama at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with famed instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer is an American actor, model and singer. Kari began acting when she was still a teenager. She had her first major appearance in the form of MTV Remote Control in 1987.
