Arianna Huffington

Arianna Stassinopoulos Huffington is a Greek American author syndicated columnist and businesswoman. She is the author of fifteen books, and she is co-founder the magazine The Huffington Post. Arianna Huffington is an actor, journalist as well as a philanthropist, author and journalist for more than ten years. She also is the founder of The Huffington Post, an free-of-cost online news magazine. Born in Greece then moved to England at age sixteen. In Cambridge University, she graduated with an MA in Economics. The infamous debating society The Cambridge Union was her first presidency and she did it before the age of 21. After after her college graduation, she became a prominent right-wing syndicated reporter. In the years later she created The Huffington Post which featured criticism of the present political scene. The celebrity she enjoyed allowed her to persuade a number of famous people to share their opinions on current events, political and culture. Arianna's celebrity status started in 2003, after she became an independent candidate in the California recall vote in order to replace then-Governor Davis. Also, she was the head of an Detroit energy-efficient vehicle project. Forbes listed her 12th in their list of the Top influential women in the media. Guardian also included the HuffingtonPost in their list of the top 100 in 2010. AOL acquired The Huffington Post from AOL in the year 2011. Then she was appointed the head of AOL's media group. It included a number of AOL-owned brands, including Engadget AOL Style List and Patch Media. Elli was the daughter of Konstantinos who was a journalist and management consultant. Although she had a close connection to her mother and father but it was their connection which shaped her. In her earliest years she demonstrated leadership skills that are still highly regarded. When she was 16 years old, she moved over in England in the United Kingdom for her higher education. She attended Girton College Cambridge. While in college she was a member of the college debate Society Cambridge Union where she became the first foreign president and was also the third female president. In 1972, she graduated with the degree of Master in Economics. She worked as a critic, a TV host and columnist upon her graduation. She appeared alongside Bernard Levin on an edition Face the music, and she began to write the books she wrote with Bernard Levin's assistance.
