Harry Edward Styles, known in the world of music by the name of Harry Styles, is a British musician and singer, recognized as one of the band members in the band One Direction. The parents of his son are Des Styles and Anne Cox. The couple were born on the 1st of February, 1994 in Holmes Chapel, Cheshire. Harry Styles attended the Holmes Chapel Comprehensive school where along with three fellow students, he founded the group he was a part of, White Eskimo. They took home the Battle of Bands in 2009 with their amazing results. In spite of always having always shown interest in music He also wished to become an attorney or physiotherapist. He worked in a local bakery on a part-time basis to assist his family financially. Harry Styles auditioned for The X Factor in the year 2010 and did Is not She Lovely, the Stevie Wonder song. He was picked. Because of that, his band had to separate. Nicole Scherzinger, the jury participant of The X Factor suggested Harry Styles become part of the group One Direction with Liam Payne Zayn Mlik Niall Horan Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne. Simon Cowell sponsored the young group in 2010. The band performed songs like My Life Would Suffer Without You which was written by Kelly Clarkson, and Total Eclipse of the Heart, by Bonnie Tyler during the contest. It made them one of the contenders for the coveted prize. They were however placed third behind Rebecca Ferguson and winner Matt Cardle. Harry Styles, his group and Cowell were not able to win the race. However Cowell provided Harry Styles a 2 million dollars contract with Syco.
