Sheryl Underwood is an American comedy performer, TV host and actress most well-known for her role as host of the popular daily talk show The Talk. Sheryl was raised in Little Rock. Sheryl is part of a clan which has experienced a variety of problems. She was a troubled child. early years caring for her older sister Frankie who suffered from polio. Growing up, she had many problems with her mom. Sheryl stated that at one point her mother had stabbed the father of her child as she got close to him. Sheryl entered the military following her graduation from university. Her interest was in comedy. She was the first female contestant in the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 as a performer for the HBO comedy series Def Comedy Jam. She also appeared in 2000 as host of the TV talk show Oh Drama! Since 2011, she has been hosting as a co-host of The Talk, a talk show. The Talk. She has played in fictional show such as Bulworth Nikki, Beauty Shop and others.
