Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1996. She was born in Miami Florida. The daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a former executive in the banking industry and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist who is a half-Spanish female who is half English. Their father is Argentine of Scottish as well as English descent. Her mother is Spanish as well as English descent. Taylor-Joy is the youngest of five kids, and four of them come born from her father's prior marriage. The family was based in Buenos Aires until she was six, after which they moved to the Victoria area in London. According to Taylor-Joy, this removal was extremely difficult for her and she was unable to master English with the intention of moving back to Argentina. Hill House had to be her new school following the transferred from Northlands. Her next school was Queen's Gate School, where she was a dancer and also performed in productions. At the age of 16, she quit school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. From a young age Taylor-Joy knew that she wanted to become an actress and her dream came true when she received the opportunity to model Sarah Doukas the founder of Storm Management.
